- The Gloucester Hotel in Jeonju is perfectly located next to Gaeksa street, making it a shopper’s paradise! Just keep in mind it’s about a 20-minute walk to the Hanok Village.
- The rooms are on the smaller side, so if you’re traveling with someone else, be prepared for some cozy luggage management. They only provided one bottle of water when we requested more, but there’s a GS25 right in the lobby for easy access to snacks and drinks.
- If you’re hoping for an early check-in, you might want to plan around that—check-in is strictly at 3 PM. This led to quite a few guests waiting in the lobby.
- Despite some minor inconveniences, the hotel was clean and offered great amenities like YouTube and Netflix on TV! Plus, the staff was incredibly helpful in booking our cab after checkout.
- I returned during film festival season and was thrilled when I found availability at Gloucester Hotel again! The location couldn’t have been better—right across from Film Street.
- The front desk staff were super friendly and responsive; they fixed a bathroom issue immediately while I was out exploring. The addition of a GS25 store downstairs made things even more convenient!
- While cleaning could use some improvement (I found a slipper under the bed), overall cleanliness was satisfactory during my stay.
- This hotel offers excellent value for money! It feels comparable to higher-end hotels despite being rated as 3 stars. I’m definitely planning another visit next time I’m in Jeonju!
- If you’re driving, this hotel has great access to shopping areas and restaurants without needing to navigate too far. The service is top-notch, making your stay enjoyable.
- Conveniently located near Hanok Village with plenty of nearby dining options allows you to enjoy local drinks without worrying about transportation back!
