- Great experience staying here!
- We stayed at IMU Hotel Kyoto for two nights and were very impressed by the warm and helpful staff. Their English was clear and made every request easy to handle. We also appreciated the free luggage storage after checkout, which made our trip much smoother. We’ll definitely choose this lovely hotel again on our next visit to Kyoto.
- We (2 adults 1 toddler) stayed in the room with 4 tatami beddings. It was comfy and the room was big, allowing my toddler to run around freely without having to worry about her climbing on things or not having enough room for her to expend her energy. The hotel was clean. They had unlimited sake for tasting at the front. Things like q-tips and sewing kits were available if you need it, you can just grab whatever you need right before you enter the elevator. There’s also a list of items for guests to borrow (not sure if there’s a fee or not because I didn’t borrow anything). Breakfast was included, and each guest can pick a breakfast set: there was mostly American style inspired breakfast, and a vegetarian/vegan Japanese style option as well. I did try both styles and they were all delicious. They’re made to order. There was also a mini bar/breakfast selection of yogurts and cereals and drinks to choose from. The location was alright; because we had a toddler with us, we ended up taking an Uber lol. But I know there is a metro station nearby.
- What a lovely little hotel in Kyoto, walking distance to many tourist spots but in a quiet area.
- As a solo female traveler who wants to enjoy a bit of luxury and freedom, this was a great option.
