Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel is one of the few 5-star hotels in Singapore under the Millennium group, but it seems to lack that luxurious vibe you’d expect. The check-in experience could be improved; I waited about 20 minutes before more staff showed up to help.
The Club Lounge on Level 29 offers a delightful afternoon tea with a lovely view. The atmosphere was pleasant, and while the food selection was decent, it felt a bit limited.
My room had been recently refurbished and featured a clean, minimalistic design. However, I did face some minor inconveniences like issues with Chromecast and an unexpected power trip while using the TV.
The evening cocktail hour was quite impressive! The canapés were delicious and well-presented, plus the lounge staff were warm and attentive—shoutout to Nursha and Rian for their exceptional service!
Breakfast options included both the club lounge (quieter) and Level 1 (wider variety). I preferred the lounge for its serene ambiance.
While my overall stay was pleasant, there are definitely areas for improvement in service—especially at the front desk where they seemed inflexible regarding late checkout requests.
The hotel’s location is fantastic; you can easily stroll along the riverwalk enjoying beautiful views of the city. It’s perfect for exploring nearby cafes and restaurants!
The staff received high praise for their responsiveness during my stay. They truly made me feel welcome from check-in to checkout.
I had an amazing experience thanks to Mr. Seelan, who went above and beyond by upgrading our room without us even asking! His attention made our stay memorable.
If you’re looking for a comfortable place with great service in Singapore, this hotel might just exceed your expectations!
