- Unfortunately, I got a room with a defective air conditioning unit that made loud noises. On the weekend, all hotel rooms were fully booked, leaving no other option but to stay. I had to use the air conditioning on fan mode. One of the rooms booked for my family had a hand palm shape appear after turning on the hot water shower, which terrified my sister, but we didn’t dare mention it during our trip. On a positive note, parking was available, breakfast was moderately good, and the staff were friendly; just hope you don’t have bad luck like I did.
- 7-11 is conveniently located right opposite the hotel, along with a clinic and pharmacy next to it. The hotel is situated on Indian Street and requires some walking to reach Jonker Street. However, the shower head pressure could be improved, and the room felt a bit musty and needed better ventilation.
- BTC Hotel is located at Jalan Bendahara, a one-way street leading toward the heritage zone. The weekly roadblock from Friday evening to Monday morning at the heritage zone makes this hotel an excellent choice for avoiding traffic jams. There are plenty of parking spaces behind BTC Hotel, allowing easy access to the heritage area. The rooms are clean, and the small breakfast spread is super delicious.
