This hotel offers everything. It provides the quintessential onsen and Japanese experience.
The breakfast is very traditional, but it can be repetitive with little variation in the menu.
The onsen and hot springs are top-notch, featuring various options including hot, warm, cold, sauna, and outdoor baths.
Rooms are traditional Japanese style; they tend to be small, so pack light.
You need to take off your shoes and either go barefoot or wear socks inside the hotel.
The amenities are great; don’t miss out on trying Meiji milk or enjoying free probiotic drinks in the morning!
There’s a manga section available for those interested in reading Japanese Manga.
I would definitely recommend staying here at least once. It’s mid-top tier among Japanese onsen hotels.
The location is somewhat inconvenient as it’s not very close to the nearest metro/train stop, but you have options between two stations.
The facilities at Onyado Nono are authentic, clean, and comfortable. The Japanese breakfast is delicious!
Hot spring facilities are usually not crowded, and there are free massage chairs available.
Unfortunately, the free Yakult tends to run out quickly.
A convenience store downstairs offers more items than nearby shops. It would be better if breakfast hours extended to 11 am instead of ending at 9:30 am.
If you’re considering this place just for sleep, it might seem pricey; however, the breakfast buffet features unlimited fresh seafood bowls, tempura, bread, and more!
At night you can enjoy unlimited night soba (soy sauce ramen)!
The bathing area is spacious with a waterfall shower; both the sauna and cold water bath are incredibly refreshing!
After your bath, you can enjoy yogurt drinks in the morning or ice cream at night!
The rooms are reasonably spacious with big beds that provide excellent comfort.
If you’re looking for a place to relax all day long without specific plans, this hotel fits that bill perfectly!
I arrived late but was greeted by lovely staff. Shoes were stored securely in lockers off to the side of the foyer.
Bags were rolled across a cleaning station before being taken up to my room. I had just enough time for FREE ramen from 21:30-23:00!
The room was fantastic with a separate toilet area and a cozy seating space alongside a low double bed.
The onsen and sauna were heavenly! Plus, sitting in outdoor baths while it rained was an amazing experience.
I appreciated complimentary ice cream or Yakult next to the comic book section by the baths.
Free massage chairs were also available in the lounge area near restaurants!
Overall , I felt like I got way more than expected for around £70/night. As a solo female traveler , I felt secure enough to keep windows open all night while sleeping comfortably .
The location of Onyado Nono is superb , just a few stops away from major attractions in Osaka , plus easy access to Kyoto via train .
Staff were polite and quick to assist me with any issues . The apples served at breakfast were absolutely addictive !
Rooms and hot springs maintained high cleanliness standards . Free laundry service was an unexpected bonus !
I have no doubts about recommending this hotel!
