Best Review Summary
[Detailed Review Score]
• Cleanliness 9.1 • Location 9.0 • Service 9.0 • Facilities 8.8
  • East Hotel is a fantastic option for those looking to stay in Hong Kong! Its prime location next to a shopping mall means you’ll never run out of food choices. Plus, being close to the Tai Koo MTR station makes exploring the city super easy!
  • We snagged a great deal on a twin room and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a corner unit featuring a double bed. Just keep in mind that the shower setup might be awkward if you’re not traveling as a couple.
  • The room was spacious and had nice amenities like tap water and a coffee machine, though watch out—minibar items aren’t complimentary. If your room doesn’t face the sea, expect views of nearby residential buildings, so we kept the blinds down for privacy.
  • The hotel serves an impressive semi-buffet lunch for around 400 HKD with delicious seafood and desserts. The steak and eggs are definitely worth trying!
  • This place is perfect for couples! Despite its price point, it’s my top pick for a staycation due to its cleanliness and comfort.
  • The hotel itself is stunning! It’s right next door to shopping options, making it easy for food runs. Just be cautious if you have older kids—the glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom can get tricky!
  • I absolutely loved my stay here! For what you pay, you get such spacious rooms with great facilities. The filtered water tap was a delightful touch! Everything was clean, including the gym which is open 24/7—perfect for fitness enthusiasts!
  • The breakfast buffet could use more variety considering the price, but trust me when I say that the quality of food is top-notch! Even though I didn’t try their outdoor pool due to weather issues, it looked amazing!
  • The front reception team was stellar; however, service at Sugar Bar left much to be desired—it felt more like chaos than five-star service. Drinks took forever to arrive without any staff attending us properly. This aspect really needs improvement.
