Cologne 5 stars – Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt Koeln – Perfect Location & Comfort, personally tried

I have visited Cologne numerous times, but my stay at this hotel was truly remarkable.
It feels like the hotel is due for some renovations, as there are a few broken items that haven’t been fixed yet.
The staff were friendly and spoke English well, making the experience pleasant. The hotel itself is quite fancy and impeccably clean, with spacious rooms.
The bathrooms exceeded my expectations—featuring a wonderful bath and shower along with a towel warmer. Plus, the location is unbeatable! Just a short 5-minute walk to the Cologne Cathedral.
One downside was that although they advertised a pool and gym, there was an extra charge of €19 per day per person to use those facilities during our stay.
The room service food had a €20 delivery charge, which might be something to consider if you’re planning on dining in.
I really enjoyed my time here—the bed was incredibly comfortable! The hotel is right next to one of the markets and about a 20-minute walk to town. There are also easy tram options available if you prefer not to walk.
The street outside is lively but not noisy, filled with shops and bars right at your doorstep. Highly recommend staying here!
