This was our first stay at Hotel Astrid, and it was lovely! The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring AC, English channels on the TV, a fridge, and even a kettle. Plus, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the grotto – an ideal location for anyone visiting Lourdes.
A very clean hotel that’s super close to the sanctuary! If you’re planning a pilgrimage or just want to soak in the atmosphere of Lourdes, this place is definitely worth considering.
The hotel caters primarily to pilgrims and has a bit of an austere vibe. Just keep in mind that there are no refrigerators in the rooms, and some might find the old air conditioners a bit noisy.
Excellent location with comfy and spacious rooms! However, be aware that there were plumbing issues during one guest’s stay – specifically with the sink not draining properly. Also, some guests felt that breakfast was overpriced for what you get.
