- Great location and friendly staff. Would have been nice to have an iron in the room but otherwise good. A couple minor stains on the carpet but the bed was clean and comfortable and looking out over little Venice made it all worthwhile. The restaurant serves excellent dinner and local wine selections. Highly recommend staying here!
- The room on the top floor is an attic room with a city view. The room isn’t very spacious, but it’s decorated in a children’s fairy tale style, like Rapunzel. The bathroom is very nice and clean, with a modern bathtub. Additionally, there is an opportunity to book a meal at the hotel, which is French cuisine that has won a Michelin award. It’s very delicious.
- The view out of the room windows overlooks the colourful buildings with flowers and the canal. It was really lovely to just sit there and watch the boats go past while having an afternoon tea. It was unfortunate that we could only stay a night. Would love to revisit next time for a longer stay.
- Highly anticipated trip to Colmar, but was disappointed by the room and front desk services. Firstly, this hotel is always overbooked albeit pricey, no matter the seasons. At first, you’d thought all the glowing reviews plus overwhelming demands translated into exceptional experiences. In 2022, we reached there on Sep 4. The Comfort Triple Room was underwhelming, small with low ceiling.
Then parking: Only a small public paid carpark nearby. Hotel’s carpark for some reasons miles away & just doesn’t make sense. When checking out next day, front desk had no clue what happened previously & apparently no handover nor communication whatsoever. At the very least, the lady in charge of hotel’s restaurant was the best with her exemplary services.
- The hotel is situated along the canal, and breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. There was also hot chocolate and champagne, and everything was delicious, especially the freshly squeezed juice; I want to drink it again. The corner room with a purple theme was very nice.
