Upon checking in, the receptionist initially spoke to me in Spanish, which felt a bit odd since he had just been speaking English fluently with another guest. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; I slept soundly on their soft beds despite usually preferring firmer mattresses. However, I did notice a slight sewer smell from the toilet area. Room service is quick but requesting extra amenities like bathrobes and slippers took a few hours. The food was decent overall, with Kalmia being my favorite for its variety—especially their hot chocolate! While some dishes like sushi were disappointing, the chicken curry at Thai Kunn was delightful. El Mexicano stood out as our top choice for both food and ambiance—definitely worth visiting more than once! The entertainment options felt somewhat lacking during our stay. However, the beach was beautiful and what truly made our experience special was the restaurant staff—they were attentive and friendly across all four restaurants we tried! This resort has been my favorite among five all-inclusive resorts in Cancun! The entrance garden set a lovely tone for my vacation. It’s not necessarily suited for honeymooners seeking luxury but offers a great vibe without being overcrowded. The rooms may be average by U.S. standards (3-3.5 stars), but the staff’s kindness really elevated our stay! I appreciated that there were plenty of sunbeds available, allowing us to relax without rushing down early in the morning. A suggestion for improvement would be enforcing chair-holding rules at the pool and beach to ensure everyone can enjoy these areas fairly. The accommodations provided nice views and friendly staff made it an overall satisfying trip. The hotel facilities could use some updates, but considering the cost performance, I’d definitely consider staying at one of their higher-rated properties next time I’m in Cancun!
