This is an incredible hotel. It is close to the main part of town, including tram and train stations. In the summer, the antique market and book fair is almost right outside. The rooms were quiet, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were lovely and could not be more helpful.
Overall, the hotel and facilities are great and I would definitely return. Upon arrival, we were nicely greeted and enjoyed the spa facilities.
However, we had quite a bad experience at breakfast which didn’t justify the cost. We waited for 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive—only one drink came! Most of the staff at breakfast seemed quite annoyed with each other and with guests. We even saw a staff member crying; it felt disorganized and chaotic. When we mentioned this at checkout, the lady seemed confused that we brought it up—definitely not what you expect from a 5-star hotel.
I enjoyed my stay and felt well taken care of. Just keep in mind that not all rooms are top-notch, so consider upgrading!
