- The hotel is super cute!! Right next to the Pier 39 in Fisherman’s Wharf. Super easy to walk to many places. The hotel’s common areas are casual and inviting…the courtyard is spectacular!! Fire-pits and S’mores, what could be better on a cool San Francisco night. Room was a good size, the bed was comfortable…and the water pressure was top notch. Definitely will become my go-to hotel when I’m in San Francisco.
- The location is great for visiting tourist spots, and I only saw 2-3 homeless people near the hotel. I was worried because I heard San Francisco’s safety wasn’t good, but there are plenty of people around the hotel until late afternoon, and in the evening, they make s’mores and have various game facilities (billiards, table tennis, etc.), so I’m very satisfied. The cleanliness rating is about 4.5 out of 5 stars. We deducted 0.5 because the water in our room didn’t drain well, haha. It’s great to rent a bike, go to the Golden Gate Bridge, and then take the ferry back since it’s close to the hotel! Highly recommended.
- I stayed here for two weeks when I was visiting SFO for a couple of conferences. The room was cosy and clean. However there is no breakfast within the hotel which was a big negative for me. There is an IHOP next door but at times it was very crowded and I could not have breakfast on that particular morning. Otherwise the experience was good.
- We had a great experience staying at Hotel Zephyr San Francisco! The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the waterfront, shops, and public transportation. It made getting around super convenient.
- The staff were all friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We also appreciated the little touches like free coffee/tea/water in the lobby and fun amenities around the property — from games to cozy outdoor spaces — adding unique charm to our stay.
- I did not see a lot of homeless people in the vicinity, although I did come across a few when walking on nearby streets but it wasn’t much. There were security assigned nearby so I felt totally safe.
- I would also like to commend receptionist Yasmin for coming to my aid when I lost my phone. Yasmin helped me contact my family, which was really kind of her. Julia, the concierge, also offered her advice patiently; I really appreciate it.
- Overall, I will definitely stay here again when I come back.
