- The owner was very friendly (although only speaks Korean) and even gave us some freshly sliced apples in the morning. The bathroom is very nice and has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your use. Full control of AC in unit and bed was relatively comfortable though in the traditional Korean floor style. If you have trouble sleeping on the floor or a bad back, this may not be for you. Space was just large enough for two people.
- The location was amazing – right in the center of the hanok village and easily accessible by bus and taxi. The owner was friendly and helpful! The weather was very cold when I visited, but the room was very hot. It was a little too hot to sleep! Due to the nature of hanok houses, outside noise was noticeable and the floor was very hot. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, but be aware that it could be a little uncomfortable.
- Super recommended for hanok experience, very clean with a location in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village. Really beautiful view just by opening the room door. Host is very kind.
- My stay at the hanok was very positive. The owner reacted quickly to my late check-in even though I forgot to let them know 2 days in advance. She greeted me at 8:15pm. Even though she didn’t speak proper English, our communication was efficient. Free drinking water was provided, and on the second day of my stay, the owner left fruit for me in front of the door. I extended my stay by one night because I really liked the vibe of the hanoks in Jeonju, and as a goodbye gesture, the owner gave me a bottle of orange juice.
- The hanok was super traditional and located right in the center of the hanok village, providing tranquility at night. Everything could be explored on foot from there. The host was very accommodating; they were present during our check-in and took time to go through everything with us. Although we had some language barriers due to limited English proficiency, this issue was easily resolved using a translator app. We faced challenges renting bicycles since they required a local mobile number; however, our host helped us by allowing us to use her number and communicated with the bike rental service on our behalf. On our checkout day, they assisted us in calling cabs to get to the train station. Without their help, arranging four taxis would have been difficult.
